This work uses the gallery space as a “field station” for experimentations with materials and the space itself. Through the ideas of migration, survival shelter and memories, a private space, yet exposed and vulnerable, is created to house the leaf specimens found from my family garden. Each was submerged in its own captive environment as a suggestion of preservative effort, prolonging life, and incubation.
